2025-26 School Year
YCAC 4.0 in Nov 2025 Organized for: Elementary students from all schools in Grey Bruce, with the assistance of 4 Secondary Schools!

We hosted an absolutely amazing YCAC 4.0 back on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 alongside Learning for Sustainable Future, Small Change Fund, Grey County, Bruce Power, City of Owen Sound, Stewardship Grey Bruce, Community Foundation Grey Bruce, Town of The Blue Mountains, Youth Climate Action Fund, Bluewater District School Board and Bruce Grey Catholic School Board and other great funders like Saugeen Nature, Bruce Grey Woodlands Association, Escarpment Corridor Alliance, Town of Southgate, Wiarton Rotary Club and just recently the Township of Georgian Bluffs!

2024-25 School Year
YCAC 3.0 in Nov 2024 Organized for: Elementary student leaders from all schools in Grey Bruce
Organized by: Hilary Coburn, Megan Myles, Jenny Carver, Jo-Anne Harbinson, Maddie Marmor, Sam Gowan, both School Boards, and tons of volunteers!
YCAC 3.0 was on November 7, 2024 at Harmony Centre in Owen Sound.
The Sustainability Project and Learning for a Sustainable Future with support from Grey County, Small Change Fund, Community Foundation Grey Bruce, Bluewater District School Board and Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, welcomed 125 students and 25 teachers from schools across the region!
Each school sent educators and up to five grade 6-8 students to this safe and welcoming event, that included:
Professional development for teachers to learn how to connect climate to their curriculum
Hands-on workshops for students
Library of virtual workshops to keep learning with their whole class
Action project funding to turn their project idea into reality
