The
Sustainability
Project.

Finally.

We are meeting up in-person in Meaford this Saturday, and it'll mark the first time we've had an "open invite" climate event since our monthly Thirsty Thursdays that ran through the winter and spring of 2024. Hopefully you'll be able to set aside a bit of time this Saturday night, and if not we'll catch you in the new year.

If you missed our AGM this'll be a great way to meet up with Simona and Ariane!

Jason MacFarlane from OurHomePlanet.ca is hoping to organize regular meetups at Savvy Co. in Meaford, Ontario. He intends to create a climate action hub for local businesses, entrepreneurs, and environmental enthusiasts to share missions, projects, and local sustainability initiatives. The Sustainability Project is along for the ride while this idea develops.

Despite the many headwinds in provincial/regional climate action, with so many role models still in active service and so much more to lose, it is our duty to not give up in the climate fight. We believe by focusing on holistic problem solving, the doughnut, and Nature Based Solutions... we can indeed punch above our weight. There's also a chance we could be meeting the moment when grassroots support matters most.

We are not in one tiny insignificant corner of the planet, we all have agency. We believe our collective impact will be huge once we "turn the corner" and create a culture of sustainability. There are so many more intervention points in this system worth exploring, and with Jason's help over these REIMAGINE CAFE - subculture to permaculture events we should be able to suss them out.

Come along for the ride this Saturday 5pm - 9pm and see what & where we can change:
