About This Event

We’re excited to invite you to a special hands-on Hugelkultur Workshop—a fun, eco-friendly way to build garden beds that feed the soil, conserve water, and bring our community together!

📅 Date: May 17, 2025
🕒 Time: 10:00AM
📍 Location: Ed Taylor Community Garden, 1120 12th Avenue East, Owen Sound

Speaker: Ivan Chan

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just curious about sustainable growing, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn, dig, laugh, and grow—together! We'll be building hugelkultur mounds, sharing tips, and connecting over a shared love of soil and sustainability.

Bring a pair of gloves, your enthusiasm, and any extra branches, logs, or organic materials you can spare—we’ll put them to good use! (leaves, pine needles, used coffee grinds, rotten logs)

Snacks, smiles, and good soil guaranteed.

Please RSVP by May 11 so we know how many hands (and shovels) to expect.

Excited to nurture something wonderful side by side!

With community spirit,

Simona and the Ed Taylor Community Garden Team
