About This Event

A Bluewater Association for Lifelong Learning lecture:

It'll be great to save the planet, but wouldn't it be better if we were along for the ride? The Sustainability Project wants to create a culture of sustainability in our communities.

We challenge existing narratives and affect change through education, outreach, and networking to "cross-pollinate" all the other contributors in sustainability in our region. Our members are all civic leaders and champions of at least one community project that creates positive change on climate action, resilience, landscape regeneration, climate justice, food security, a doughnut/green economy.
This lecture will discuss the many opportunities available to make the leap to sustainability.

Leigh Grigg of The Sustainability Project will introduce a team of local civic leaders who donate time to scaling up local environmental projects, at a non-profit that resides on the Traditional Territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, known also as Grey-Bruce. You'll meet an array of community leaders who are creating a culture of Sustainability in our region.
